For wastewater treatment and reuse, we set up Solid Immobilised Bio-Filter (SIBF) system. The salient features of this treatment system: it is ecofriendly, energy conserving and non-conventional. The treated water conforms to the Pollution Control Board's norms and can be reused for gardening and toilet flushing.

It is now a known fact that the drinking quality water is becoming a scarce commodity. Moreover, pollution of these limited water sources by sewage is adding to the problem. Therefore, by proper treatment of sewage, not only the pollution problem is solved, but also, by reusing the treated water for gardening, toilet flushing & other non-potable uses, there will be a saving of 40 to 50% on use of drinking quality water. This implies that by installing wastewater treatment system, the reuse of treated water in itself leads to payback of installation cost of treatment system.
